Excel Packaging Machinery at PPMA show 2005 exhibits:

The highlight of the Excel Packaging Machinery Ltd www.excel-packagingmachinery.com stand 10111 hall 10 at PPMA 2005 will be from their Italian partner Omas Technosistemi manufacturers of filling and capping machinery who will be bringing to this years show their new Omas six head “Total” fully automatic volumetric liquid/cream filling machine.
This will be shown in the format of a roll up 4 head hot fill volumetric cream filling machine although the principle of the “total” filler is that it can be supplied with a range of roll up units to suit the customer’s products and containers. The roll up filling unit fits onto the base machine allowing customers to be able to choose from volumetric, gear pump, vacuum, peristaltic and flow meter filling modules all of which fit onto the same base unit. The roll up unit features tool-free volume adjustment and there is a CIP facility, although removal of the complete filling system for off-machine cleaning is also quick and easy.
The Total filler will be shown alongside other examples of the company’s equipment with models to suit operations of all sizes.
For lower output requirements there will be two OMAS DVPB on display in different formats one for filling liquids installed with a liquid ball valve and the other set up to fill creams and gels with a rotary valve and hopper installed. These compact, bench-top units can fill containers ranging from less than 5ml to 5000 ml in capacity at speeds up to 25 containers a minute. These machines are designed for the first time users or companies requiring small, flexible filling options.

Other fillers on show will include the semi-automatic DEU Electronic filling machine in bench top version, , designed for filling liquid products in the cosmetic, pharmaceutical, chemical and food industries., the DEU utilises highly accurate peristaltic pumps controlled by electronic stepper motors, with self-learning filling volume system.
Excel Packaging Machinery will also be launching their own Profill semi automatic filling machine which is a gear pump filling machine with two speed filling facility with touch screen technology.

Excel Packaging Machinery will also be exhibiting machinery from their Italian supplier Marin G & C for the very first time in the UK.

Marin G and C of Italy manufacture filling machines for corrosive liquids, detergents or cosmetics, together with appropriate complementary machinery (capping machines, conveyors, labelling machines, etc.)
Exhibits at PPMA 2005 are the PN2/1000 which is an semi-automatic filling machine which is pneumatically driven and controlled, with two volumetric dispensing heads, designed for fills from 20 to 1000 cc capacity with change parts options up to 5000cc and the machine on the stand will also be equipped with the optional screwing devices for caps.

The display from Marin also includes the PN 10/1 10-head semi-automatic rotary dispenser with capacity from 100 to 2,000 cc. It achieves up to 1,300 pieces per hour (1 litre) and can draw up the product from a container placed on the ground, up to a maximum height of 4 metres; it can also be fitted with diving nozzles for foaming liquids.

Finally on display from Axomatic of Milan Italy will be the launch and first showing of the Axomatic Optima 700 tube filling machine which is a semi automatic tube filling machine for filling and sealing metal plastic, laminated and polyfoil tubes to speeds up to 1200 an hour. Designed for contract packing companies the Optima 700 offers great value for money with limited change part requirements.
